1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand and acknowledge that using the sauna involves inherent risks, including but not
limited to:
- Heat-related illnesses such as dehydration, heat exhaustion, or heat stroke
- Dizziness, fainting, or loss of consciousness
- Increased heart rate and blood pressure
- Burns from hot surfaces
- Aggravation of existing medical conditions
I confirm that I am physically able to use the sauna and have consulted a physician if I have any health concerns, including heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, respiratory issues, pregnancy, or other medical conditions that may be affected by heat exposure.
2. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
I voluntarily choose to use the sauna and accept full responsibility for my own health, safety, and well-being while doing so. I fully understand the associated risks of using the sauna beyond what is mentioned in the above section “Assumption of Risk”.
3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration for being permitted to use the sauna, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Facility, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of any loss, injury, damage, or death that may result from my use
of the sauna, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Facility from any and all liability, claims, or expenses (including legal fees) that result from my actions, omissions, or use of the sauna.
5. RULES AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
I agree to follow all posted rules and instructions regarding sauna use, including but not limited
to:
- Limiting the sauna use to recommended duration (usually 15–20 minutes consecutively)
- Taking breaks as needed and listening to one’s body
- Staying hydrated and exiting immediately if I feel unwell
- Not consuming alcohol or drugs prior to or during sauna use
- Not using the sauna if I am pregnant, have a medical condition, or am under medical advice not to use it
6. SEVERABILITY
If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
7. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF TERMS
I have read and understood this Liability Waiver and Release. I am at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian signature below if under 18) and voluntarily agree to its terms.
8. Photography and Video Consent:
I consent to the use of photographs, videos, and other media taken of me during activities at Slow Sauna and Wellness for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes, including use on the Slow Sauna and Wellness website and social media platforms. I understand that I will
not receive any compensation for such use.
